Northern Minnesota is an ideal place for any kind of outdoor enthusiast, but we especially pride ourselves on our vast network of snowmobile trails connecting throughout the entire state. Beautiful, scenic cross country ski trails can also be found in and around local and state parks.

Littlefork is home to Lofgren Park. Lofgren Park offers a variety of conveniences and recreational activities including:
  • 12 rv/camper sites
  • Ten/rustic campsites (almost unlimited)
  • Electric and water hook-ups
  • Available dumpsite (not operated by Lofgren Park)
  • Showers and restrooms
  • Tennis court
  • Basketball court
  • Boat landing
  • Baseball field
  • Picnic areas
  • Pavilion
  • Nature trails

Weekly rates No hook-ups $25.00
a Hook-ups $48.00

The park closes at 10:00 PM.

Hunting
Hunting

There is a vast array of animals that are hunted in the Littlefork area. Some popular game animals in Littlefork include white-tailed deer, ruffed and sharp-tail grouse, ducks, bears, and rabbits. Trapping is also popular in the area, including the trapping of beaver, mink, muskrats, and raccoons.

Fishing
Fishing

Fishing is very popular in the Littlefork area. The area has many lakes and rivers, including Rainy Lake, Lake Kabetogama, Rainy River, the Littlefork River, the Big Fork River, the Sturgeon River, the Rat Root River, and the Bear River. Some popular fish include walleye, northern pike, small mouth bass, muskie, sauger, large mouth bass, crappie, and sturgeon.

Voyageurs National Park
Voyageurs National Park

Voyageurs National Park is located on the Minnesota and Ontario, Canada border. Visitor access is reached by US Highway 53. The border lakes and surrounding lake areas between Minnesota and Canada surround the Voyageurs National Park area. The recreation area features both motorized and non-motorized opportunities. Boat travel of any size, snowmobiling, skiing, sailing, and wind surfing are among the many activities. The park is open year round.
